Wednesday Give Away

This week we're giving away a copy of Kristin Hannah's "Firefly Lane".  The rules are the same.  All you need to do is answer the following question in the comments section below.

"Do you plan to make any of this year's Christmas gifts yourself?  If so, what, if anything, do you already have planned?"

As always, please don't post your personal information (address) in the comments for all to see.  If you are the winner, you can email me your information at mwalker39@nycap.rr.com.  You MUST check back to see if you are the winner.  Remember -- I won't have your contact information to let you know.

Last week's winner has not yet claimed her prize.  I will wait until next Wednesday's Give-Away, and then assign the prize to the runner-up.

Thanks again, everyone, and have fun!!!

I don't have the best track record of making gifts myself. I have been trying to make myself a shawl for the past two years and it hasn't gone far. I have made one blanket for one of my friends for her baby shower. I did finish one other blanket but I did not give it (we all know why...LOL).

I have made several squares for a blanket. If I get enough, I might give it as a christmas present to someone who might appriciate it.

Love to knit, but I quickly lose interest, especially with larger projects. So I guess, I can make some small things like dishrags. Only time will tell

PS. I own the book already..LOL

Bless your heart -- I have seen you finish so many projects in this past year! Gifts that anyone would be thrilled to receive!!!

Maybe we should start a "Christmas Ornament" club, and meet once or twice a month to make stuff to give. We didn't do very well with the "Stitch and Bitch" club. We'll have to think about this, for sure.

I KNOW you have the book, so if you are the winner, you will definitely get something else from me.

Planning on making many gifts myself this year. Homemade bathsalts, aromatherapy products and just other things that make you feel relaxed.

I have made bath salts in the past, but I would be interested in delving further. If you have some good ideas, you could chat with me at mwalker39@nycap.rr.com. Cheers!!!
